Interview Question :: How hard is to become a Database Administrator at 48

How long will it take me to get there? I have no degree , no certification. I need to get that done in 1 year , Is that possible or not? All I know is some html & CSS. Thx.
Should I take the linux road with mysql/php or SQL Server 2005?

It depends on whether you understand what a relational database is, and how it works! HTML and CSS will not help you as a DBA! If you understand how to put data together, go for it, but if you don't go find another job!

Harder than it is at 25 but not too hard. It should be possible to get your certifications from a technical school. I would go the linux way but if you learn mysql it should be easy enough to pick up server 2005.
