Interview Question in SQL Server Integration Services

Interview Question :: Is there something wrong with me? I can;t remember stuff (I;m a programmer)

I've been a programmer for over 10 years now, doing all kinds of different things. Mostly VB, VBA, Access, SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS,Oracle... I'm not even 40 yet and it seems like it's always an uphill battle. If I do something else (say SQL) and then a couple of months later I come back to Access, it's like there's a lot of stuff I just can't seem to remember how to do. I just pretty much can't code off the top of my head at all... i constantly have to look everything up. I see other people who seem to be able to remember this stuff. I feel like I'm stupid.
I saw a doctor a while ago and he didn't think much of it... I kinda felt like he thought I was maybe borderline hypochondriac or something). Anyway, why is my brain always feeling overloaded... i can't remember sh!t.

Im 32 and recently having serious problems remembering the simple things. I can sit there and look directly at something and not know the name of it. Like: To heat up your bowl of soup, go put it in that..that..thing over there. And my kids think Im nuts. I have to write down EVERYTHING activity wise..or else I get myself in trouble. I dont know what the heck my problem is. I have noticed Ive been more stressed/depressed......maybe thats it??? ___________ ....I don't know about you, but I see the memory problem in my older relatives also (My dad has it horribly). Could be genetics? Who knows. Friends have recommended in the past some over the counter vitamins? Im not sure which ones, but maybe you can look them up online and see which ones help with memory? Dont get so upset about it. Like my mom told me...when you cant remember where you live or how to care for yourself, "the important things" then dont worry about it. Guess that COULD put more stress and make it worse, eh? Good luck!
