Interview Question in SQL Server Jobs

Interview Question :: Mom, Delhi seems to be a tough destination for me

Hai guys,
I'm a b.com graduate from kerala univ. and came here on New Delhi last year. I did Diploma in software tech from SISI, new delhi and currently doing MBA(IT) with Sikkim Manipal Univ.

I have also a look at a job here on west/south delhi. But i didn't get one till today. I have attended 33 interviews, but failed. It seems that MBA(IT) is the problem. As a South Indian I never thought that higher education is a barrier in north india for getting a job for freshers.

I have a good platform in ASP, C, C++, Html and servers like oracle, sql etc. Ih've a typing speed of 50 words/min, but don't have any experience. Basically i'm a b.com as well(Accounts)

Then have your say, what is the extra qualification required to get a job here on new delhi for back office process. Hope somebody would respond with a serious eye.

RE: Mom, Delhi seems to be a tough destination for me?

I am feeling bad for you and your experience you narrated above. But I don't feel any justification of your bringing "Delhi", "South India" and "North India" terms into the whole issue. So many Delhi born Delhites in Delhi and rest of India have faced much more than you. Raising these aspects really show that you might have acquired degrees and diploma but could not utilise them in your real and practical life.

Millions of Americans crib that people from Indian have taken their jobs, bread and butter, and you joining them forget this very aspect that a businessman/entrepreneur/Manager do hire a person which is useful for his purpose and can deliver much more than the salary he would draw. Then whether he/she is an American, Indian, South Indian, Delhite, Iyer or Sharma or Kurien or anyone else - it makes no difference. I visit may offices/businesses owned by typical Punjabis in Delhi with a very good majority of South Indians working there. And many more instances by personal experience to narrate.

Having attained so much technical knowledge and your personal assessment of yourself being adequately or over qualified, just see how much you could gain as a person, as an Indian national or as a human being thinking in those terms.

We all have struggled and have been struggling yet the balance and cool of mind and thoughts need to be maintained always.

Analyse honestly where do you lack, work to overcome that aspect of your personality, if you can, and I am sure that success won't be that far, God willing!

Harping upon the them. Feel and present yourself as if the most successful personality and approach any employer who would offer you the job without even interview. Thus, have a 3 months experience - practise makes perfect.
