Interview Question in SQL Server Certifications

Interview Question :: VB/ASP to .NET

How much time does it take to learn .net ? Currently i am working in asp and sql server projects. Is it possible within 2 months ? I'd to move to .net and do certification on that. Anyone suggest me please ????? Thanks in advance.

You do exactly what I do. Moving to .Net though is a big step. ASP/VBS is a joke compared to a real language like C#. And even VB can be much more difficult. However, you say you have two months! I'd get me a SAMS, Learn C# in 24 hours book (if they make one) because that is how long it took me to learn ASP/VBS using their 24 hour book on the topic. They write some EXCELLENT books. And of course, I learned most of everything I do on http://www.4guysfromrolla.com. That is the ultimate ASP/VBS/VB/C#/.NET site on the net in my opinion. Good luck brother. What I want to learn is PHP and MySQL. I'll bet it's easy, but I just can't seem to get into it.

2 months time is good to learn .Net if you put your hard work. However, I do not suggest to go for the certification immediately. Have some experience in working with .Net and then only you go for the certification.
